Life of Bob and Sue Brasset

These are great testimonies of what God is doing in the world today. They are too rich not to share. We hope you enjoy them and are as encouraged by them as we have been.
TREASURE HUNTING AT MCDONALDS
Picture this: two elderly ladies at McDonald's doing calisthenics, and deep knee bends, overjoyed at God's goodness. How did this come about? Well, it happened recently when Sue and I dropped in to a local McDonald's for a quick burger. We began chatting with two ladies sitting at an adjoining table. One of them happened to mention that they both suffered from arthritis and fibromyalgia. My ears perked up. "How long have you both had these conditions?" I questioned. They replied that it had been several years for both of them. I asked them if they would like to be completely healed. "Of course," was the reply, in unison, "but that would be impossible."
"With Jesus it is possible," Sue and I said. "Here's is our proposal. Would you allow Sue and I to pray a brief blessing on you both? If you do, Jesus will do the rest by healing you completely."
They agreed. We commanded the arthritis and fibromyalgia to go and the joints and muscle tissue to be restored. Then we asked them to test it out, to begin to excercise. The startled expressions on both their faces was priceless. They were exercising vigorously. Overjoyed , they began thanking Jesus right there in public, free from pain and immobilized joints.
ONE HUNDRED POUNDS MELT OFF
I did not recognize the man at first. He approached me recently and said, "I know you don't remember me, I look so different now. Actually I came to you for prayer about one year ago. I was very obese. I came to your home I desperately needing to loose weight." At this point, I remembered the occasion and how Sue and I had enjoyed a visit with him and his companion and how we had then mnistered to him.
The man went on, "You breathed on me and said 'excess weight melt off his frame.' "Well," he said, "something amazing happened. I went home and without any particular dieting regime or exercise program, 100 pounds just melted from my frame. Thank Jesus that I now have a new lease on life."
SEVEN YEARS OF INTENSE PAIN
Her name is Veronica. She came to Sue and I because of an undiagnosed but chronic condition. The doctors and specialists told her it was a condition similar to pheblitis but it wasn't exactly that particular disease. After many doctors and many medications, treatments and experimentation, the disease was not any better. Despite strong painkillers, she suffered constant, severe pain. The only thing that eased the pain somewhat was to sit or lie down with her legs elevated. Sue and I blessed her and asked God's love to fill her. Then we commanded the mystery illness to go and never to return. Immediately she was well. No more pain, no more impairment. Several weeks later, she is still healed and healthy with no residual lingering after effects. Jesus gets the glory.
DOCTORS WAITING ROOM
It happened today, November 14, 2009 at approximately 3:05 PM in the waiting room of our family physician. I was there for a check up. There was only one other person in the waiting room. she was doing some paperwork after having seen the doctor. As she sat there, she commented to me, "I sure wish I didn't have to take this morphine." My ears perked up once more (they seem to do this a lot lately - actually every time I hear of a disease, sickness, injury or suffering.) I asked the lady why she has to take the morphine. She gave me an earful, and told me she takes the morphine because of migraine headaches. " It's just like one long, non stop constant migraine," she said. "the morphine only dulls the pain, it never takes it away completely."
Expressing concern, I said that it must be terrible and so discouraging. Then I said, "Would you like to be completely healed and never suffer from that again?" She didn't seem to comprehend. I had to ask her two more times. Then, with understanding, she said that of course she wanted that.
"If you will let me pray a blessing on you, Jesus will completely take that away." Her face lit up. "Would you?"
I told her to just stand there and relax and that she didn't have to do anything - only receive.
"Lord Jesus, I bless this wonderful lady," I prayed. Please fill her with your love and encouragement." I then breathed on her head and said, "Migraine go, in Jesus name." I said, "thank Jesus." She exclaimed, "the pain is gone! thank you Jesus! Oh, and the vertigo is gone also! This is too wonderful." She left the office full of gratitude to God.
I then had my check up with the doctor. At the end of my visit I said, with a serious expression on my face, "Doctor I need to ask your forgiveness." Immediately he looked concerned. "Tell me."
"Well," I said, "I tampered with your patient." He looked even more concerned as he asked me what I meant. I proceeded with the following. "As I was in the waiting room one of your patients mentioned to me that she wished she could come off morphine, and I offered to pray." The doctor then said, "Oh yes, that's so and so, she is very needy. Thanks for praying for her."
"No, that's not all. I commanded the migraines to go and she told me the pain left and also the vertigo."
The expression of my clinical, dignified professional doctor's face changed. It was so beautiful. (This Doctor is a Christian and loves the Lord). It was a look of sheer joy. He jumped from his chair, came over and gave me a half hug. I'll never forget it. He told me, "that woman has suffered intensely for close to 10 years. Nothing I do could alleviate this pain - it was constant. If she says the pain is gone, I know something real has happened. She is a strong Christian woman and attends one of the local brethren churches in the city."
All I can say is, THANK YOU JESUS!
Love - Jesus style,
Bob
