Jim and Bonnie Inkster are the directors of Gateways Ministries International. Both of them love the presence of the Lord through His Holy Spirit and His prophetic expression. The Lord made it clear they were to move to England from Canada with the mandate to equip people for leadership and to encourage them to fulfill the call upon the nation of going with the good news to other nations.
Since moving from Canada to the UK in 1999 they have started two leadership colleges, one in Chelmsford which operates now as Mpower, and one in London. Jim and Bonnie worked with Rick and Bev Murrill as part of the leadership team during the formative years of Christian Growth International, a new church movement in 1999. They then went onto start in 2005 a new church in London called the Father’s House. The Father’s House was an organic church meeting in a community home in Chelsea. In 2003 Bonnie started a prayer ministry called Gateways Prayer Ministry to mobilize teams to pray in the nations of Europe. Over the 5 years from 03 to 08 teams prayed in over 30 nations in Europe as well as Israel, Egypt and Jordan. In 2006 Bonnie and Jim left CGi amiably to pursue the vision the Lord was giving them.
In 2008 they moved to Birmingham, England. They are a part of Vineyard Network Church Birmingham where they have taught on Sundays and facilitated a marriage seminar. Since relocating Bonnie and Jim have ministered in churches through preaching, workshops, seminars and conferences. Our ministry includes working with the leadership of churches and organizations. This includes mentoring, coaching and advising leaders.
In 2010 a number of people have come together with a vision to plant a church in Streetly, Walsall, part of the greater Birmingham conurbation. The church was blessed and released by Vineyard Network Church, Birmingham, on November 7, 2010. Grace Vineyard Walsall is a local church with a global heart.
